1 week

1 week until we take the journey of a lifetime to go see our baby girl. Excited, anxious, and expectant all rolled into one. This is a really big deal for us, folks. REALLY, REALLY big. I almost get emotional just thinking about it.

Me-being reunited with Hannah Cate again, 10 months from when I saw her last.
Kyle-meeting his DAUGHTER for the very first time.

It is all getting so real and so attainable, we can nearly taste it. We are hopeful and are praying that through it all, others can see how great our God really is. How He has orchestrated something so beautiful.

To prepare, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, etc. I will be shutting down my ties with Facebook, blogging, Pinterest, etc. Wholeheartedly focusing on my boys and my husband, packing and gathering gifts for those dear to us in our girls country, seeking His word and His will, with no distractions.

I will be checking email, as we will be getting last minute info from our agency about our trip so please feel free to shoot me an email...amytippens@gmail.com.

Other than that, I won't be posting again until we are in Ethiopia! I hope to journal our time there as much as the internet connection allows, so please follow us here if you want updates!

Would you pray for us? We know prayer works and it would mean nothing more if you would maybe choose 1 or 2 of these things and take them before the throne...
-For court on May 10th, that all documents needed will be present and that the judge will PASS our case.
-For travel mercies, for safety as we fly across the world. Flying is not my favorite thing, in fact, I tend to panic a bit at just the thought of it.
-For meeting our daughter, that she will feel and experience the love we have for her and the love that God has for her too. And that we will connect to her and begin feeling the love that comes with adding another child to our family.
-For our boys and family who will be keeping them for us. For a hedge of protection over them as Mama and Daddy are gone. And of course, sanity and wisdom for the grandparents. ;)

We just can't wait until we can show a picture of our baby girl snuggled between us!
